Our Commitment to Sustainability

The Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA) is a flagship initiative of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development (FMYD), designed to empower Nigerian youth for long-term success. NiYA is deeply rooted in the Ministry’s vision and strategic objectives, ensuring it remains a critical part of national youth development efforts for years to come.

● As an integral arm of the FMYD, NiYA operates with full government backing and alignment with national development policies, providing a stable foundation for its programs. ● In line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President, NiYA has been structured to ensure continuity and sustainability beyond political cycles, reflecting a lasting commitment to Nigerian youth.

● Through diversified funding sources NiYA is designed to sustain its operations for long-terms success. ● The strategic thrust of NiYA, through its various sub-programs is creating jobs, fostering entrepreneurship, and contributing to a resilient economy. This ensures NiYA impact is felt immediately and transferred to the real sector - the beneficiaries are real people, real Nigerians and they can forge their future on NiYA Digital platforms independently.  3. From the Academy that first launched, NiYA now has a community where Youths interact and showcase their profiles. The NiYA Gigs platform connects Youths with clients across the world under the Gig Economy. All these platforms are fully operational and scalable. ● By constantly leveraging technology and innovation, NiYA ensures its sustainability while expanding its reach and efficiency.
